At the Fence: Single Scene

Dear At the Fence:

My ex boyfriend and I dated over the summer and I can say, without a doubt, that I am still in love with him.  But he left me right before school started for his highschool sweetheart, someone that he's in love with.

There are a few extra issues we're dealing with.  First is that we're roommates in college...haha.  Second is that he says he still likes me, just doesn't love me.  Third is that we've still been hooking up on random occasions, even though he's suppose to be in a monogomous relationship with his current 'lover.'

I'm not sure what to do.  I want him back with all my heart, and recently i've been having angry 'episodes' that i've never had before.  I'll get mad for little or even no reason.  Just the mention of his new boyfriend gets me so sad.  I've cried every day for almost two months.  And now he's responding poorly too.  He's starting to get angry and hate me back, even though he originally claimed to be like a best friend with me.  I want to leave this all behind, but I'm just so in love with him.  He's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

Where do I go from here?

Dear Where do I go?

Not every sexual relationship is love. This sounds like plain old sleeping around. Move on, and in the future really consider what love means and what you want in a relationship.

Best Wishes
