aaaaaa

Dear At the Fence:

I'm very concerned about my 8 year old daughter. She won't listen to her teacher. She's been doing it since kindergarten - not paying attention, talks when she's not suppose to.

I took her to a doctor. She not have ADD. She does it at home, too.

Her dad acts if it's ok to act like that. He picks on her, teases her. It's stressing me out. That's why I don't have her in any activities. Well, Brownies. But she is about to get kicked out.

PLEASE HELP ME

About ready to pull my hair out.

Dear About Ready:

There may be other causes for her behavior than ADD. Have you had her hearing and her vision checked? It could be that her father teasing her and picking on her is a factor, too.

I'd suggest that both of you take parenting classes and perhaps get some family counseling.

Best Wishes
